REGULATION 1 · WHAT THE OFFICE RECORDSVery little, on purpose.

If you leave your address at the Dead Letter Office, we record exactly that: your email address. The ledger is kept for us by Kit (ConvertKit LLC, USA), a company whose whole job is keeping ledgers of this kind.

When you buy a parcel, the sale is handled end-to-end by Gumroad, Inc. (USA) as merchant of record — they process the payment and issue your receipt. Your card number never passes through this office; we wouldn't know where to put it.

The website itself keeps a simple tally of visits. No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies, nothing that follows you home.

REGULATION 2 · WHAT THE RECORDS ARE FORMail, and nothing else.

Your address is used to post you the weekly letter and to deliver what you've claimed. It is never sold, rented, swapped, or read aloud at parties.

REGULATION 3 · LEAVINGOne click, no interview.

Every letter carries an unsubscribe link. It works the first time. If you'd like your records struck from the ledger entirely, write to post@oddparcel.com and a clerk will see to it promptly.

REGULATION 4 · REFUNDSFourteen days, no interrogation.

Parcels that disappoint are refunded within 14 days of purchase. Write to post@oddparcel.com or use the button on your Gumroad receipt. You will not be asked to explain yourself, though the office does accept gossip.

REGULATION 5 · LICENCEYours to print, not to sell.

Every parcel is licensed for personal use: print as many copies as your household, party table, or refrigerator door requires, forever. Parcels may not be resold, redistributed, re-listed, or passed off as anyone else's post.

REGULATION 6 · CORRESPONDENCEA person reads the mail.

The office is reached at post@oddparcel.com. Letters are read by a person and answered within two business days, allowing for weather.
